WHO ARE WE?

We are an ordinary group, like many others in the world.
This blog is “our virtual space”; a place beyond the classroom where we can continue getting to know each other and learning English.

Our group, like all groups, is diverse. We have members from different countries: Paraguay, Colombia,  Perú,  Bolivia and different parts of Argentina. Not just different nationalities, but also different ages,  occupations, life experiences, expectations, personalities, and more...
This fact makes our learning experience even more interesting and exciting!

We are people who want to learn English because we know that this is the International language of the world and we want to be part of it. We also have a blog because we have understood that ICT is also a global language and being digitally literate helps us learn and communicate in the 21st century.

However, we know that being part and getting adapted has a cost; we are aware of the cultural imperialism issue involved in the impact of these two languages (English language and digital language) in this globalized world. That's why we consider critical thinking fundamental.

Hope you are having a great time there! (she's far away from here)
This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to start using online DICTIONARIES for example: www.wordreference.com, forget the old paper one! I know you love it! but try something modern! jjejejeje
Everything is fine here, today we worked with a song, it is in the "songs" page of this blog, go and check!!!
And we are dealing with "the future" (simple future -will-, going to, present continuous for the future) I also added some exercises, see "practice" page.
Leave comments on the homepage, notice that each publication has a question, answer the question through a comment to practise!
      A huge kiss for you!

  8. This is what is written in the introduction of this page:
"We have decided to leave all the “mistakes” because mistakes are part of life and they help us grow. We don’t care too much about mistakes because we are focused on communication. When you read us, don’t focus on our mistakes, focus on what we have to say. It is a good exercise!"

  10. Glad to read your comment Adolfo!!! You have just started, take it easy! Your pronunciation is very good!!! We don't need to pronounce like a native speaker to communicate! it is not necessary! The key is to relax, to be confident, to enjoy communication, to use body language, not to feel frustrated but enjoy the challenge, to focus on what you CAN do, and the most important thing is to speak a lot... if you want to learn to speak, you have to speak! See you soon! Your teacher =)
