Mr. Dufresne says that his wife said she wanted to divorce in Reno. He told her he would not grant one. He doesn't remember that the neighbors said. His wife packed a bag to go and stay with Mr. Quintin. First, he went to a few bars, later, he drove to Mr Quintin's house to confront him. They weren't home. He waited. He was confused, drunk. He wanted to scare them. But he got back in the car and he drove home to sleep ti off. He threw his gun into the Royal River. He repeats he is innocent.

Mr. Dufresne presented his statamen at trial.he answered the prosecutor´s questions. He said don´t remember much beacouse he was drunk; but he didn´t intented to kill his wife. He just wanted to scare her. He pleaded not guilty, beacose before he got home he threw the gun into the river.

I think he is guilty, he killed his wife, he was jealous.
I think, he is saying lying because he doesn´t want to go prison, but he murdered his wife and her lover and he left the corpses thew in the bed bloodstrained.
Fantastic! I can notice a lot of dictionary work in your answers: grant a divorce, bloodstained corpses, plead not guilty, sober up, sleep it off, murder sb, prosecutor, trial, scare sb, confront sb, innocent...
