  1. We can use this word for express pain, pleasure, hate and love, it can be an adverb, an adjetive or a noun, it doesn´t always used in negative situations.

When it is used how offensive, it depend what tone of voice you use and what word surround it, for example it's not offensive if I say, WHAT THE FUCK! or FUCK IT!, but when I say FUCK YOU! or GO FUCK YOURSELF! I'm being offensive, or they are being offensive with me, for that is important understand and study this word in an english course.

  2. Paula, you've read the recommended article, I see! Great!

I think that despite the fact that the word "fuck" is considered a "vulgar" word, it is important to be included in an English course since you can find it in many songs, movies, media in general... it's part of the real world. However, as a teacher, I wouldn't recommend its use...it could be inappropriate for certain contexts, you can sound vulgar or even rude... anyway, it is important to recognize words like the "F" word or the word "ain't" to understand certain informal communicative situations...

    What do you think???
